Pirarucu

The performance reflects on migration through the personal migratory experiences of each artist. The collective Nós was initiated by Lívia Maria Delgado in July 2025, bringing together Brazilian artists in Berlin, including Clébio Oliveira, who directed the performance. Pirarucu premiered at Uferstudios in March 2026.

Home as a body in displacement. Memory as submerged breath. Pirarucu approaches this premise through the body. Rooted in the experience of living far from Brazil, the work unfolds as a choreographic investigation of migrant bodies in motion, bodies that exist between languages, climates, and ways of life. Here, home is not understood as a geographical place, but as something embodied, a nerve, a gesture, a chemical memory of longing.
